Happy New Year everyone!
Thank you all for the amazing letters and messages!
Christmas was spent at members house after members house. It was truly a party because this place is like family to me. We even got to watch a Christmas movie.. weird to watch a movie again.
Today we walked around the neuswanstein castle. Sister Martin told me some fairytales in a literal fairytale land. It was magical. I love l days in my mission. It was funny because today a group of people stopped us and asked where we came from... Apparently, I had a sarcastic tone in my voice, because when I told them we were from the USA and Australlia they just laughed and said, "yeah we are also from around here." I guess it is too hard to believe that an australlian and an american would meet in germany during coivd 19 times.
On the way home we noticed that we needed gas and stopped at the nearest gas station... in Austria. We had driven through 3 countries in one day. I hit that milestone.
Just normal life over here with cholocate sold in ever store and cheese vending machines. Imma miss these Bäckereien.
I find a lot of joy in the pure joy of a child recieving the most simplest of gifts. Their eyes light up and their smile is filled with the most sincere gratitude. Not only do I want to recieve gifts with joy and gratitude, I want to give gifts as freely as I can.
2 cor. 9: 6-7
6 But this I say, He which soweth sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which soweth bountifully shall reap also bountifully.
7 Every man according as he purposeth in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loveth a cheerful giver.
Let's give bountifully in 2021.
Alles Liebe! Gute Rutsch!
