Hello Beauties! --- December 3, 2019

Is there a God?  "...all things denote there is a God; yea, even the earth, and all things that are upon the face of it, yea, and its motion, yea, and also all the planets which move in their regular form do witness that there is a Supreme Creator." Alma 30:44 We have really cool question cards that we give to people and they have questions on them, like the one above. We write our phone number on the back of the card as well as the church address, etc. I was trying to be personal by writing things like... "good question, right?" and "ask God!" One of these cards had the question, "how will God answer my prayers?" And i wrote without thinking or knowing... "Good question! Ask God!" Haha! Well. Maybe we should say the same thing to each other. When you have a question, even if it is, "is there a God?" Or "how will God answer our questions?" Ask God. Just ask him in prayer and see what happens.  Questions are good! Life pushes us to be better!!! Without growing pains or questions... there is no struggle and without a struggle... there is no growth. The best thing about the gospel of Jesus Christ, is we are allowed to have the struggle... #earthlife with the promise of a sweet outcome... #eternallife. I've been learning so far in my little #missionlife , that this learning experience is not one to be taken alone. We have a mediator, a friend, who gives us peace and strength during the struggle. It amazes me that every time i turn to Christ for help... HE IS ALWAYS THERE. I truly stand all amazed and completely humbled and grateful for the plan of happiness and the LOVE OF GOD!!!!!!!! But sometimes we forget that life is supposed to be a stuggle. And that we can have joy in the journey. Everyday is an adventure... a rollercoaster... but it's not the kind of roller coaster you just get on and scream, throw your hands up in the air and it's done.... this roller coaster is A REAL, QUALITY ROLLERCOASTER. I'm talking you gotta strap yourself in #whitehandbook #obedience otherwise you'll go flying... there's puke involved, there's water being spit in your face, quick loops and sudden changes and turns in the schedule, it's not slow, even though sometimes it seems to be in slow motion, you're bumping heads with your friends and sometimes there are scary clowns that pop out in front of you (usually we pass those off to the elders lol). This is a real roller coaster.  And the best thing about it is we don't have to experience it alone. We share it with family and friends, and we share it with our Savior. He's at every turn, every bump, every loop. Er ist immer da. Mission life or real life... the rollercoaster is so much better when you have the constructer right by your side... telling you which turn to take, where to duck and to hold a bucket for when you puke. Haha! But honestly i'm so grateful for my Savior. Because of him we have the promise of a sweet outcome and an absolute, positive way back to God, as long as we just hold on and strap ourselves in. I left on my mission because i felt how much this gospel had helped me... and i wanted to help others change their lives and see what i've seen and feel what i've felt. The more I learn about Christ and his gospel... the more deeply of a conviction i feel that it is true! it's all true. And it's changed my life.  Liebe Grüße, Sister Bailey Smith
