The best life is a life of love

Hi beautiful friends!

Long time no weekly email!! Oops! Let's talk about miracles. I want to tell you every single miracle that happens in my days, but there are so many little miracles that I couldn't possibly even start. Hence why I've not started for the last month haha! But now I will just share a couple miracles with y'all. Facebook... it is incredible. You can't imagine the people we find... or I should really be saying who find us!!! We talked with this one man from Egypt and he asked us what we were doing in Deutschland. We explained we are missionaries, to which he responded, "perfect! Teach me about Jesus!" That is exactly what we are doing now! He is becoming happier as we teach about the hope Christ brings. I have time to tell another quick story. A man. We will call him Jim. Jim wanted to learn Englisch. We taught many Englisch lessons to Jim, and his English improved so much. One day Jim said, "y'all are missionaries right? Can you teach me about your church?"  Long story short. Jim is now planning to meet with the missionaries in his home town to discuss the gospel further. We will still meet and teach English to Jim and I'll keep you all in touch with how it goes. Facebook is amazing. There are SO many more people we have found and who have found us! I miss talking with people on the street (my favorite thing ever about the mission) but this is SUCH an effectice approach to missionary work and WE CAN ALL DO IT! Ok, there are just so many, here is another quick story!!! Another friend from Africa. We call her Lala. We met Lala on a bible page. She had a question and I sent her a DM. We got talking and Lala just really wanted to understand how she can gain Salvation. We talked with Lala and found out she has met the missionaries in Africa but didn't know what they believed amd never asked. We are now connecting Lala with the missionaries she met in Africa! We also met a friend outside of Facebook haha! Most of the work is now online but wow. This guy is amazing. He came walking up to the church on Sunday right after the Sacrament and asked if he could join our church service. We had stayed behind to mingle a little bit and set up an appointment for Wednesday. He is so excited to learn abiut Christ. We are so excited to teach him. Ok well. There ya go. Lots amd lots of people and miracles. The Lord can do His own work. God has a plan. I wanted to also touch on the little miracles that sometimes take effort to notice. There are miracles everyday that, if we look for, we will see.

"Still, there are other miracles that we tend to forget: The sun rises and sets each day; small seeds grow into mighty trees; the many components of our body work together, enabling us to breathe, run, dream, and eat. Inspired advances in medicine and technology are happening every day, and we can now communicate with almost anyone anywhere. God’s power can be seen in every detail of our lives."

Father, where shall I work today? And my love flowed warm and free. Then He pointed out a tiny spot And said, “Tend that for me. I answered quickly, “Oh no; not that! Why, no one would ever see, No matter how well my work was done; Not that little place for me.” And the word He spoke, it was not stern; He answered me tenderly: “Ah, little one, search that heart of thine. Art thou working for them or for me? Nazareth was a little place, And so was Galilee.

“So much in life depends on our attitude. The way we choose to see things and respond to others makes all the difference. To do the best we can and then to choose to be happy about our circumstances, whatever they may be, can bring peace and contentment. … We can’t direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails. For maximum happiness, peace, and contentment, may we choose a positive attitude.” Thomas S. Monson | “Living the Abundant Life”

Love you friends!!!! Leave your mark on the world. YOU ARE NEEDED. YOU ARE LOVED.
